Hero  Starts January 2015!


The Books that you will need are:
·         Flag of our Fathers Adapted for young people by Ron Powers  week - 2
·         The Hiding Place by Corrie Tenboom. week 5
·         Hiroshima by John Hersey week - 8
·         A Biography of choice about someone from the WWll era.   Scholar will give a presentation at the end of the semester about this person.
The approx. week that the book will be discussed is noted after each book.  

Movies:
  1. Tora! Tora! Tora!
  2. Ike – Countdown to D-Day with Tom Sellek   or   The Longest Day with John Wayne
  3. Life is Beautiful or Schindler's List
One movie from each numbered line.


There are a few movies that would also be great to watch for above and beyond ask Sister Cummings!
